Baltic Sea Secretariat for Youth Affairs

The profile of applicants should include:

• A university degree
• Experience in international youth work and policy, preferably in the Baltic Sea Region
• Organisational talent and communicative capabilities
• Very good knowledge of the English language (for non-Germans also good working knowledge of the German language)
• Knowledge of languages of the Baltic Sea region, especially Russian is an asset
• Experience in use of PC and Internet
• Willingness to travel and to accept flexible working hours

The position involves the coordination of activities in the area of youth-policy co-operation in the Baltic Sea region, providing other actors with information and organisational support, and taking care of contacts with the EU and with Baltic Sea and other regional structures. The Baltic Sea Secretariat for Youth Affairs is financed by the Youth Ministries of the Baltic Sea States.

We expect a close cooperation with the colleague working 20 % as Consultant in the same position. The salary will be based on the German Federal Wage Agreement for Public Servants. Please send in your application (also by e-mail) before the deadline of
